Age 18 and over
Experienced working with clay & can work independently. Should have at least one multi week long course, either at our studio or else where.
A clear understanding of clay clean up protocol is essential.
Studio orientation meeting required before you are allowed to use the facilities.

RAIN studio is a small pottery studio in the heart of Capitol Hill, Seattle.
Studio membership is open for anyone who has taken a class at RAIN or for artists with previous experience in a pottery studio and can move safely in a studio setting. Intended for individuals who seek independent work space with little to no instruction.
The nature of the ceramic process is slow and meditative and it can take anywhere from 6-8 weeks to complete a single piece. We recommend new members stay for at least three months so they don't feel rushed through the process.

Various clay bodies are available for purchase from the studio. Membership fee is nonrefundable. Info regarding the guest policy can be found here

For members with an active membership to bring guests into the space to create pieces.
Covers the material + use of studio for one guest. Select multiple passes for multiple guests.
Members bringing guests to use the studio facilities without purchasing the guests pass will be asked to leave and have their membership revoked without refund.
