Master potter and globally recognized artist Miki Shim will be teaching a two day teapot intensive workshop. Over the course of two days Miki will leverage her years of expertise and show us how to construct functional teapots on the potters wheel. We will explore teapot body forms, make fitting lids, dripless spouts and various handle options that suit your aesthetic. Glazing will be covered as a demonstration only on the final day.

Skill Requirement - Students should be able to center up to two lbs with confidence to keep up with the pace of the class.

Studio members will have the option to fire any pieces made during the workshop and non members can have pieces bisqued and picked up at a later date.

Clay and basic pottery tools will be provided. Workshop fee is non refundable. Members please contact studio for member discount.
